The German ISO-Gruppe and the Canadian airline FLYGTA have entered into a strategic partnership with the goal of implementing the NDC & ONE Order-certified ISO software SKYres at FLYGTA
The two companies will collaborate closely over the next weeks to ensure that FLYGTA’s offers can be viewed and booked in metasearchers and OTAs via NDC. The core of the new airline retailing platform SKYres is an Order Management System (OMS), which carries out and manages bookings of flights and ancillaries without PNR and tickets
The regional carrier from Toronto will thus be the first airline worldwide to offer its services using exclusively IATA’s NDC and ONE Order. This strategic move will open up new opportunities and markets for both FLYGTA and the ISO-Gruppe. Moreover, FLYGTA will act as a distribution channel for new and existing aviation and tour operator extensions for SKYres.
Perfect Test Scenario
"We at FLYGTA are excited about the new features," said Chris Nowrouzi, CEO of FLYGTA Airlines. "After years of research and development, we're happy to join forces with the ISO-Gruppe to make this vision a reality. FLYGTA offers the perfect testing scenario for software enhancements as we develop new models to take advantage of the nearly unlimited possibilities offered by NDC & ONE Order".
"With FLYGTA, we are pleased to have gained an agile and visionary partner with whom we can jointly further develop our system solution," says Ingo Schuch, Director Business Development Airline Solutions & Projects of the ISO-Gruppe. "In this way, we’ll help both NDC and ONE Order to market maturity – and very soon we’ll see completely new products and services that are possible through the consistent application of standards and new technologies".
